We reprise our CUT Must Die collaboration adventure with a brand new release! If there is one human who can rightfully claim the title of official fourth CUT member this is Bruno Germano (Settlefish, Anni Luce, Arto). He's been our studio engineer, live sound person and musical co-conspirator for almost twenty years now. You can hear his touch all over most of our releases, as a musician or behind the mixing desk. He probably hates us by now, but we still love him and we wanted to celebrate our long-standing friendship with this release. Wake Up comes from the Second Skin sessions: since we felt it was largely incomplete we did not include it in the album. Three years later, Bruno salvaged the semi-abandoned tune by putting 'a little bit of f***ing fairy dust over the bastard' with heavy doses of Brian Jonesque slide guitar and Farfisa Compact organ. Now it rocks. Let the Bruno Germano groove take over. Wake up!
